Charge-transfer and energy transfer processes in Pi-conjugated oligomers and polymers: A molecular picture
Article Abstract:
The increased significance of the dynamic processes taking place in pi-conjugated materials is portrayed, along with the charge transport, charge recombination, exciton formation, exciton diffusion, or exciton dissociation. Much attention is devoted to the calculation of the rates for such energy-transfer of ET reactions, as they affect the characteristics of organic materials to be used in the new generations of electronic and photonic plastic devices.

Bi-TTF, Bis-TTF, and related TTF oligomers
Article Abstract:
Bi-TTF, bis-TTF, and related TTF oligomers, that are a relatively new class of donors playing an important role in the basic science of organic conductors, are summarized. In contrast to the parent TTF and its derivatives, dimeric and oligomeric TTFs exhibit intramolecular electronic interactions between the TTF units.
