Chemistry of acyl radicals
Article Abstract:
The unique structural properties and thermodynamic characteristics of acyl radicals have made them one of the most studied compounds. By identifying the kinetic parameters, which govern the reactivity of these intermediate compounds, researchers have been able to develop acyl chemicals that offer substantial uses in various industrial applications. Some of the most functional acyl radicals developed include acyl selenides, which provide valuable insights on understanding intermolecular addition and cyclization.

Cyclization reactions of dianions in organic synthesis gamma
Article Abstract:
Dianions are more specifically defined as species that possess a lithium, sodium, and potassium or magnesium counterion and undergo at least reaction with electrophiles. Much work in dianion chemistry is concentrated on the synthesis of open-chained products by reaction of dianions with monofunctional electrophiles and subsequent addition of water.

Recent advances in the Hauser annulation
Article Abstract:
The Hauser annulation is a one pot operation and highly oxygenated anthraquinones can be prepared without an extra oxidation step. Many new applications are found in the past and it is expected that the reaction would be further redefined and used more frequently in the synthesis of complex molecules.
