Environmental and magnetic field effects on exciplex and twisted charge transfer emission
Article Abstract:
The effects of the external magnetic field on spin-forbidden nonradiative transitions and supersonic jet environment on charge-transfer (CT) processes are discussed. The statics and dynamics, donor-acceptor distinction in excited states and twisted-intramolecular processes of charge-transfer emissions are also presented. Tests conducted on aggregates in supersonic jets explored the solvent-solute interaction which can stimulate further time-resolved studies in uniform liquid solutions.

Water dynamics in the hydration layer around proteins and micelles
Article Abstract:
Dynamics of water molecules in the hydration layer that surrounds self-assemblies and protein in aqueous solutions is reviewed. Results reveal that while water molecules near biomolecules or self-assemblies, the hydration layer remains dynamically active and by no means rigid or icelike.

Dielectric relaxation and solvation dynamics of water in complex chemical and biological systems
Article Abstract:
Issues concerning the dynamics of water molecules in complex chemical and biological systems are discussed. The dynamics of water present either near to or entrapped within the structure of these complex systems is very different from bulk water.
