Fluorinated phosphonates: Synthesis and biomedical application
Article Abstract:
The synthesis, fundamental chemical properties, biomedical uses of the phosphonic acid derivatives that bear at least one fluorine substituent on the organyl moiety and the synthetic methods used for the preparation of fluorinated phosphonates are described. The union of fluorine and phosphorous has natural origin and the artificial introduction of the fluorine into biological systems inspired by biochemical processes is continuing to generate new efficient biochemical agents and pharmaceuticals.

Chemical reactions of C1 compounds in near critical and supercritical water
Article Abstract:
Fundamental knowledge of C1 chemistry is necessary for industrial applications with near-critical water (NCW) and supercritical water (SCW). Various elucidating reaction mechanisms for CO, CH3OH, and CH4 total oxidation at high temperatures and at low water densities are discussed.
