A case study in biomimetic total synthesis: Pololefin carbocyclizations to terpenes and steroids
Article Abstract:
Interaction between biomimmcry and total synthesis is discussed. A subgroup of polycarbocyclizations is reviewed and its total synthesis based on biomimetic strategies is described.
