Chemistry of carbon nanotubes
Article Abstract:
Advances in the field of the applications of organic and inorganic tubes in material science and medicinal chemistry are reviewed by studying carbon nano tubes (CNT) which are considered to be the most promising among the different classes of tubes, due to their extraordinary properties. Three approaches to chemical functionalization of CNT and to account for the advances that have been produced so far is reviewed.

Aromaticity as a cornerstone of heterocyclic chemistry
Article Abstract:
Heterocyclic chemistry offers a much wider prospect for exploring the possibilities and limitations of the aromaticity concept than hydrocarbon chemistry. Quantitative measures for aromaticity have been devised, and improved molecular calculation methods, which allow for a better evaluation of the experimental data already obtained and predictions of novel aromatic heterocycles.
