Spectroscopy and hot electron relaxation dynamics in semiconductor quantum wells and quantum dots
Article Abstract:
The effects of size quantization in semiconductor quantum wells and quantum dots, caused by photoexcitation of semiconductors, are discussed in relation to carrier relaxation processes and electron cooling dynamics. The review also examines the dynamics of photogeneraed charge carriers, photoemission, and radiative and nonradiative recombination processes in semiconductors subjected to photoexcitation.

Time-dependent quantum methods for large systems
Article Abstract:
This article presents time-dependent methods employed in simulating quantum dynamics processes of large clusters and condensed-phase environments. The basis and general application of the self-consistent field, mixed quantum-classical, semiclassical, and path integral methods are discussed.
