The tentacular chemistry of (Cp*Ru(OMe))2
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze the tentacular chemistry of the organometallic compound (Cp*Ru(OMe))2. Complexes were prepared by chloro complex or through the direct reaction of the common precursor (Cp*RuCl2)2(super 16) with K2Co3 in MeOH. Model computations were carried out on an OMe tetramer to show steric interference of the OMe groups with methyl Cp. Results showed that the body of reactions resulting from a methoxo complex proceeds under very mild reaction conditions.

Di- and polymetallic heteroatom stabilized (Fischer) metal carbene complexes
Article Abstract:
This review discusses synthesis and reactions catalyzed by di- or polymetallic carbene complex in organometallic compounds. Data reveal that there are three different means of joining metal centers on a metal carbene double bond using a carbon chain, a heteroatom, or a metal-metal or a bidentate ligand.

Bipyridine: the most widely used ligand. a review of molecules comprising at least two 2,2'-bipyridine units
Article Abstract:
This paper discusses the structural and synthetic aspects of molecules containing two or more 2,2'-bipyridine ligand units employed in the metal chelating. These compounds are used as bridges to interconnect metal centers, in helical assembly, in chiral recognition, and in luminescent devices.
