Functional mimics of superoxide dismutase enzymes as therapeutics agents
Article Abstract:
Several manganese complexes can mimic the action of superoxide dismutase, which eliminates free radicals. The most effective are Mn(super III)(salen) complexes and Mn(super II)([15]aneN(sub 5)) complexes.
