Clover International Inc.'s Jet S780N ECR is touted as providing network compatibility in information terminals as it offers 3,000 standard-free price look-up codes. As much as 32 of the machine, which has a coverage of 40 departments, could operate together in a network linked through a single personal computer. Jet S780N, which lets computer connections through two standard RS-232C ports, offers a number of functions for operating with the euro currency. The cash register's other calculations include eight kinds of value-added tax and seven payment modes.

Jet S310N users can link as much as 32 units of the machines to a personal computer to create a network. The cash register is also available with preset five-digit integer and five-digit decimal system designed for use with the euro currency.
