Dept of Defense shows softer side
Article Abstract:
The Defense Dept has sent information technology (IT) team employees to undergo a soft skills training program being offered by Global Knowledge Network's network training research unit, the American Research Group (ARG). ARG's three-day program helps supervisory and middle-level IT managers to maximize the use of their technical skills and develop a systematic approach to project management. The Defense Dept believes that the ARG program will help increase team communication and reduce costs by cutting the time required to complete major IT projects.
