How to Apply the Basic Laws of Vision to Help Solve Eye Strain and Fatique Problems of VDT Operators

Article Abstract:

VDT users who have eye strain, mental fatique, writer's block, or related physiological ailments because of using monocolored phosphorous screen are suffering from the effects of afterimage, according to the president of Color Charisma. Afterimage occurs after users look away from brightly colored images on terminal screens. Relief from afterimage can be obtained by placing the afterimage color within the field of vision. Eye Friendly, a product from Color Chairsma, is a back drop that performs this function by artificially creating the afterimage.
