Make plans for MAC
Article Abstract:
IT asset management is taking root in many industries as evidenced in the adoption of moves, adds, and changes (MAC) policies in many companies. MAC and similar policies are designed to keep companies updated on the status of their ever-changing environments. These policies, when properly utilized, should result in significant cost and time savings for companies. A Dataquest survey shows that IT managers spend an average of 3.82% of their annual IT budgets on asset management.
