New certification targets support sites
Article Abstract:
Softbank Service and Support Consultants (SSC) has created the Support Center Practices (SCP) Certification for certifying internal and external IT support center sites. SSC Pres Bill Rose said support centers must have customer satisfaction rates of 85% for them to pass the certification program. The SCP contains a checklist that can be used by a support center to assess its current status in relation to SCP's required criteria. It also entails an audit from SSC consultants on an organization's processes and methodologies.
