Security Vital for Cordless

Article Abstract:

Some security measures will soon be necessary for the future of cordless telephones. In April 1983, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) notice of calling for a minimum means of security received opposing comments. GTE Business Communications Systems is recommending a specific quantity of codes and channels for use.

Training of computer customers is an effective means of increasing customers and sales. Many retailers use formal seminars as their means of education. Literature on computers is also a good sales tool, but carrying books and magazines should be done selectively.

Rick Greenberg, president of Car Tunes, says the way to attract customers is through advertisement and promotions. He spends ten percent of gross sales on advertising. Volume sales are the reason for Car Tunes' success. A photograph of Greenberg is included.
