Article Abstract:

G. Heileman Brewing Co. recently upgraded its analog facsimile system to a digital based system. Heileman selected the Rapicom 800 digital facsimile transceivers. These machines with automatic operation allow the system to transmit at night with lower telephone rates. Mutual of Omaha built an office building with underground floors for record storage and filing. Norris Industries recently installed a SMOKEETER Electronic Air Cleaner to filter out tobacco smoke and dust. Hughes Aircraft upgraded its office with Digital's All-In-One system. This system facilitates document processing and communication.

Article Abstract:

The Mason and Dixon Lines trucking firm has enlarged its business and improved its pricing policies with a Wang VS 80 computer. The computer is used to determine shipping quotations, which have become more important with deregulation and a sagging economy. Use of computerized forms has also helped cut down costs and Mason and Dixon has been able to lower its rates.
