Product Life Cycle Often Dictates Distribution Channel
Article Abstract:
A Venture Development Corporation report indicates that selling strategies for business products differ depending on the type of outlet. There is a direct correlation between product maturity and number of outlets. The office equipment discount chain and business equipment center could make a change in product distribution. Sears originated the concept of business centers. Computer supermarkets may also be successful. A graph showing the sources of products is included.
