Investment group buys Holiday RV Superstores

Investment group Atlas Recreational Holdings Inc of Florida has purchased a controlling interest in Holiday RV Superstores Inc in a privately negotiated deal. The strategic and financial resources of Atlas is expected to put the Florida-based retailer of recreational vehicles and boats in prime position to become the leader in the marine industry as regards size and the quality of service. The terms of the deal were not revealed.

Holiday RV expands California presence

Holiday RV Superstores is buying Roseville, CA-based Village RV, a deal that would give the former a stronger presence on the West Coast. Holiday of Fort Lauderdale, FL, operates 19 boat dealerships in eight states, selling 60 brands of recreational vehicles and 10 boat brands. The company says the acquisition of Village RV would bring in an additional $45 million in annual revenues, allowing it to earn more than $300 million.
