Lyris: Hotmail, Gmail filter more permission e-mails

Article Abstract:

E-mail delivery firm Lyris Technologies has reported that email service firms Hotmail, Gmail, MSN and Google have filtered more licensed e-mail promotions in third quarter of 2005. This filtering has increased to 9.4 percent from 5.4 in last quarter.

DMA requires members to authenticate E-mails

Direct Marketing Association has asked its members to certify their promotional e-mail campaigns with in 3 months. Earlier DMA (Direct Marketing Association) has issued guidelines to its members regarding e-mail promotions.
