Article Abstract:

Preventing inaccurate and incomplete customer information from entering databases is one of the most biggest problems faced by business enterprises. Customers make data-entry mistakes roughly 40% of the time in Internet World Wide Web site ordering systems either becuase of keying errors, misinterpretation of questions or a failure to enter correct information such as apartment numbers. Companies must effectively address customer data quality issues because the key to successful electronic commerce lies in package delivery and customer service.
