Internet companies join forces on global strategy

Hotline Communications Ltd, which develops interactive Internet communications environments, has engaged the services of Cyberplex Inc to help it develop a global marketing strategy. Hotline's softare products allow computer users to use the Internet for real-time communication. On the other hand, Cyberplex is one Canada's top Internet services companies, with more than 250 employees and six offices in the country and in the US. Hotline Marketing VP Doug Humfries said Cyberplex is a strategic partner for his company that will deliver high-impact Web solutions.

Rapp Collins communicaide changes agency's role

Article Abstract:

Direct marketing firm Rapp Collins Communicaide (RPP) of Mississauga, Ontario, outsources its production-management department's services to independent firm PPL Marketing Services. RPP, which dissolved the department in late 1998 as part of its streamlining program, has arranged for the placement with PPL of some of its former project-delivery workers to esnurnsure the continuity of its programs with its clients. Under the new setup, RCC account managers work with PPL's staffers rather than their former co-employees.
