It's Amanda's world
Article Abstract:
The most successful architectural practices are those where there is a degree of debate, according to Amanda Levete, a partner at Architect Future Systems, which was founded in 1979 by her husband, Jan Kaplicky, and David Nixon. The practice has always focused heavily on the innovative use of technology, but has recently begun to take a more subtle approach. She and her husband both have a strong input into designs, but Levete has become most well known for her pragmatic approach to winning work.
