Keep it covered
Article Abstract:
Small construction firms should cover the threat of legal expenses by taking our legal cost insurance, which guarantees financial reimbursement should a claim for late or with-held payment fail. Payment of legal cost insurance is calculated by the insuring firm against the worst-possible claim. A time period of one year may be covered or insurance may be taken out to cover an existing dispute. Legal cost insurance is expensive but worth it to smaller firms who can not take the financial loss of an unsuccessful claim.
