Key HUD staff members leave MH program
Article Abstract:
The Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has juggled some of its key officials. David R. Williamson, former director of the Office of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs was appointed as senior adviser at the Office of Procurement and Contracts, while Marion F. Connell left the Manufactured Housing and Standards Division. In addition, the HUD released a proposal that updated the Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards. Standards set by other organizations were introduced in the updated document and include the proposed standards and new and obsolete reference standards.
