Large databases bring large responsibility
Article Abstract:
In the wake of the recent spate of consumer data breaches, there is utmost need for direct marketing and data collection companies, having massive databases, to take adequate measures to safeguard sensitive data. Enacting legislation for identity theft would force companies to notify consumers in case of data breach, and give greater control to consumers.
