Lawmakers urge private mailbox review
Article Abstract:
Several House legislators have asked the Dept of Justice to review a US Postal Service (USPS) rule concerning commercial mail receiving agencies (CMRA). The postal agency is requiring CMRA private mailbox holders to include either a PMB designation or the pound sign on their mailing address instead of an apartment or suite number. The USPS said the postal designation is intended to protect consumers from some private mailbox holders who have used a suite or apartment number along with the street address of the CMRA.
