Article Abstract:
UK construction companies have discovered the importance of corporate sponsorship, which raises money for charities whilst also raising awareness of the company's name within the industry. Bucknall Austin has raised 6,000 pounds sterling for football charity From Streets to Stadium, while ensuring the firm has become associated with top football star David Beckham. Mandelson's overture
Article Abstract:
UK minister without portfolio Peter Mandelson confounded his critics in 1997 when he volunteered to take on the responsibility of ensuring the Millennium Dome was constructed on time and within budget. The project has been completed two weeks early due mainly to the skill and dedicated of the people involved in the building and design, according to Mandelson who believes increased public support has also had a positive effect on the moral of the builders.
