Madden Direct to fulfill orders from other online retailers

Article Abstract:

Madden Direct was created to take charge of all the e-commerce operations of parent Steve Madden Ltd including the job of fulfilling orders from dealers and business-to-business clients. The establishment of Madden Direct is part of Steve Madden's latest retailing strategy of catering to both direct consumers and online retailers that distribute the Madden brand of footwear products. Some of Madden Direct's initial clients include Sho@AOL and Nordstrom.com.

MindCrossing launches BTB information stores

Article Abstract:

MindCrossing Inc is launching a platform that enables business-to-business exchanges to sell information and intellectual property by industry experts through specially created stores. Called the MindCrossing Knowledge Commerce system for BTB markets, the platform enables the sites to acquire, store, manage and deliver such knowledge. The objective is to provide BTB marketplaces and individual corporate BTB Web sites an edge over rivals that may boast the same vendors and buyers in the system but differ by the information offered.

Register.com names Impiric to $20M account

Register.com has selected Impiric as its first agency of record for direct-marketing business worth $20 million. David Hirschler, VP for global marketing at Register.com, says Impiric would help the company develop its brand and generate a positive return on investment. Impiric would also help Register.com with the latter's plan to expand its services to overseas market and broaden its offerings for individuals and companies in the US.
