Making tracks
Article Abstract:
The UK construction industry continues to offer job opportunities, even though fewer employees within the industry are currently planning to find a new job than in 1997, according to the 1998 Building/Hays Montrose careers survey. There is continued concern about salary levels within the industry, and employees also feel that there should be better training opportunities. Job-seekers within construction place strong emphasis on information technology. Indeed, information technology investment can be a key factor in attracting applicants.

Don't mention the skydiving
Article Abstract:
Those seeking employment in the UK construction industry should be aware that having an impressive CV is essential. Applicants with extensive experience should omit details about the early years of their career, while younger applicants should place more emphasis on qualifications. Attention should be given to giving the CV personality and ensuring that it conveys an impression of what the applicant is really like. Particular attention must be given to the key skills section.
