The puzzle
Article Abstract:
The complicated design techniques needed to construct the 75 million pounds sterling spiral-shaped extension at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, require innovative engineering and a high standard of workmanship. The design requires walls to be supported without the use of columns, transferring load weights up through the 60 high meter building. Each wall will be pre-constructed in concrete and placed at different angles to build up the structure.
