New Hong Kong Airport facility to speed US direct mail
Article Abstract:
Hong Kong's new international airport will reportedly have a mail sort facility that will provide quicker and more comprehensive services for US companies mailing to Hong Kong. The Chek Lap Kok airport's state-of-the-art airmail center will be located in the main area of the airport, next to the air cargo section. The airmail center will provide tracking facilities and speed up the process of handling airmails. It is still early to tell what services will be offered for US direct mailers and whether postal costs will increase. However, the airmail center reportedly promises to speed up overseas mail services.
