Wachovia Bank changes to phone-based customer service
Article Abstract:
Wachovia Bank, an Atlanta and Winston-Salem, NC-based bank, is working to implement its telephone-based customer satisfaction program to all of its branches. The bank earlier decided to switch its methodology of communicating with customers about branch service and assess customer feedback from direct mailings to telephone because of the immediacy it presents. The company is working with Columbia, MD-based Sky Alland Marketing on the program. Using random samples, telemarketing representatives reportedly contact 4,000 customers each month since the program began.
