Sainsbury eyes 2000 show
Article Abstract:
The 350 million pounds sterling millennium exhibition scheduled to take place in Greenwich, London, England, seems set to receive funding of around 12 million pounds sterling from retail concern J Sainsbury. This comes at a time when the organisers of the exhibition were experiencing difficulties in raising the private finance required to match the 200 million pounds sterling lottery grant which the event will receive. Sainsbury is considering plans to sponsor part of the central arena for the exhibition.
