Learning resource centres
Article Abstract:
Universities are earmarking additional funds to build new multimedia learning resource centres now that student numbers have risen significantly and libraries have become overcrowded. Considerations in the design of such facilities include the space needs and the links between different activities. Teaching and learning strategies, flexibility, and environmental issues including lighting, ventilation and noise, should also be considered.
