Modern architecture and construction within the United Kingdom will never be thought of favourably when old buildings with classical styles are continually chosen as venues for various association headquarters. Many organisations look to the past for their values and approach, even though older buildings often involve an expensive refurbishment exercise to make them usable in a modern organisation, which also often results in work of poor standard.

One way to balance these pressures is to save weekends for family projects and relaxation while making work the weekday priority, and another is to permit employees to use flexible working hours.
