Article Abstract:

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC-u) conservatories are commonly purchased in the United Kingdom because they are inexpensive in comparison to other materials and require very little maintenance. Modern PVC-u conservatories are built to look like traditional structures from Victorian times. They are built using attractive features such as stained glass, dentil moulding and pilasters. They are built to standards CP 118: 1969, BS 6399: Part 1: 1996, CP 3 Chapter V Part 2: 1972, BS 5516: 1991 and BS 6262: 1982.
