Treasury bid worries banks
Article Abstract:
Banks are concerned that they could lose money through becoming involved in developer Godfrey Bradman's plans for the redevelopment of the Treasury in London, England. They are wary because Bradman has reached an agreement with US contractor Brown and Root to undertake the 200 million pounds sterling redevelopment work under a guaranteed maximum price contract. They fear that costs will go out of control and that they will therefore suffer financial losses.
