Mistakes in BTB frequency marketing

The popularity of frequency-marketing programs has spilled into the business-to-business (BTB) segment. BTB marketers are well-advised to adopt such programs because their smaller customer bases make it more imperative to identify and cultivate best customers. However, BTB marketers can commit several mistakes in implementing a frequency marketing program. These include overdependence on discounts, ineffective use of incentives and inadequate database development.
