Use channel marketing to increase sales
Article Abstract:
Marketers in 2000 typically spend $85 billion a year on print, radio, television, point-of-purchasing displays, direct mail and co-branded marketing in all media to stimulate consumer activity at the retail level. Yet millions of available co-op marketing, market development and channel advertising funds, which frequently exceed what a brand spends on annually on national advertising, go unused, misused or underused each year. The use of channel marketing would enable business enterprises to address this issue to maximize impact and boost sales and profitability.
