Blowing the whistle
Article Abstract:
Most employees do not feel able to speak out if their employer is guilty of illegal or dangerous practices. In many cases, those who do so are ignored or may even lose their job. Most employers do not have a formal procedure for dealing with cases where employees express concerns, and have no designated person to whom employees can turn. People who speak out are now receiving support from the charity Public Concern At Work (PCW).
