Calem Late Bottled Vintage Port 1990, costing 7.99 pounds sterling from Unwins wine merchants, ranked among the top three in an evaluation of port and stilton, along with Marks & Spencer 10 Year Old Port and Warre's Warrior Finest Reserve Port. Thirty different ports were tried. Of the 11 pieces of stilton tasted, the Safeway Blue Stilton came out tops, along with Malton Mowbray Mature Blue Stilton, and Colston Bassett Stilton.
