The best of times or the worst of times for business education?
Article Abstract:
Business education in the 1990s has profited from the standards that the AACSB has created in terms of quality of curricula and relevance to the marketplace. Students have become more influential in determining the direction that business education ought to take. Business schools have also been more resourceful in soliciting suggestions about quality improvement through such media as surveys and focus groups. However, in the midst of this encouraging developments, business professors are still not paid well and promotions have been scarce.

Motor learning and the value of familiar space
Article Abstract:
A study of the literature on hurdle race training in horses and humans and motor learning in humans shows that animals prefer familiar territories, indicating that experience with that particular territory increases their proficiency in that space. Instead of confining to a particular area in a territory, animals should practice moving around the obstacles and barriers to become safe and efficient in that territory.
