Revisiting Hamilton's rule
Article Abstract:
The assumption that a stochastic effect results from considering offspring and sibling helping is valid and does not violate Hamilton's rule. In cases of specific litter sizes, the possibility of the helper's allele being carried by the offspring or the sibling is low for sibling-helpers and sibling helping possess higher stochastic costs.
