Another Leap too Fast?
Article Abstract:
The Quantam Leap (QL) personal computer, selling for $600, is available from Sinclair Research, a company which is eighty five per cent owned by British entrepreneur, Sir Clive Sinclair. Production problems, however, have delayed deliveries until June. Sinclair must establish himself as a dependable supplier if he is to expand at the fast rate he has laid out for himself. Sinclair Research's profits were fourteen million pounds in 1983. Sinclair hopes to gain a share of the American personal-computer market. The QL will initially be sold by mail order in the United States.
