Bridging the gap
Article Abstract:
The causeway across the Johor Strait between Malaysia and Singapore is the only border link between these two countries. Although the causeway was extended, the traffic continues to increase and crossing can take hours. In Mar 1994, an agreement for a new bridge was signed by these countries, which specifies each country's role in the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of the bridge.

The restriction of campaign spending hinders the constitutional freedom of US citizens. Citizens should be given the right to express their support for the candidate in terms of financial contributions. Campaign finance abuses can be prevented through the enforcement of present laws.

Massacre of the manatee
Article Abstract:
A manatee was critically injured after being slashed by a boat's propellers. A rescue team brought her to the Sea World Manatee Rehabilitation Facility where arrangements were made to have the animal fitted with a dive suit to allow it to surface despite its injuries.
