Interest rates

Article Abstract:

The relative rates of interest rate paid by regular small business borrowers and actual interest rate paid on short-term loans by small business borrowers for the period from January 1986 and December 2003 were compared. Regular borrowing activity was reported by 30 percent of all owners that was down by four points and it averaged 36 percent in 2000 and 2001 but was above 50 percent in the inflationary early 1980s.
