The agreement on agricultural reforms made by the European Economic Community's farm ministers at the Brussels summit appears to be in danger. The Irish are the leading dissenters and their demands are discussed. The agricultural reforms are linked to the proposed budget rebates, which remain an unresolved issue, and therefore the agricultural policies may never receive approval, regardless of their final form.

Wawel Hill Castle in Krakow, Poland, is a physical manifestation of the relationship between history and the Catholic Church in Poland. Many artifacts on display at the castle also attest to the connection between war and religion. How the castle was used through history and who lived there is explored in detail.
