China's growing population and the increasing popularity of the French language have cast doubts over the adoption of English as the international medium of exchange. However, it is believed that such a conflict is not likely to create major changes on foreign trade and economic development.

Language can be considered as a political force for it may draw a country apart, impossible as it may seem to people's way of thinking and cultural traditions. Maybe tolerance of language differences can help unite America just as well.
