Jooss' 'The Green Table': musical forms and devices as choreographic tools
Article Abstract:
Kurt Jooss' ballets have a sylized form that the critics have rarely completely appreciated. The formal quality of his work can be compared to that of Ninette de Valois and Agnes de Mille. In 'The Green Table' Jooss employs the principles of musical form to construct an independent choreographic form. The rhythmic structure is independent of the music and yet the two are vitally related.

Article Abstract:
Artificial intelligence (AI), has concentrated too much on developing human models of intelligence rather than other life forms it is argued.
