Bankrupt advice
Article Abstract:
The Russian economic crisis has been partly blamed on the poor advice offered by academics and advisers in the West. Some institutions in the US and UK received large amounts of money to undertake research to help Russia change from a communist to a capitalist state. The advisors failed to ensure the elite group in Russia was abolished but allowed them to make a new ruling group which were permitted to invest heavily and profitability in the new privatised companies. The Russian gross domestic product declined to 6% in 1996 from 14.5% in 1992.

Cat seeks dog with GSOH
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly widely recognized that cross-breeding has played a significant role in the origin and evolution of animal species, especially birds and fish. In almost two-thirds of cases, hybridization is unidirectional, with one species consistently providing the mother and the other the father. It is possible that hybrid events of this kind are the product of female mating preferences.
